Email to Fax Simplicity

eFAX gives anyone with an email address the ability to send faxes at a fraction of the cost of conventional faxing. eFax eliminates the process of printing your documents and then waiting by the FAX machine. Using eFAX means that you no longer pay for local/national calls, maintenance or paper.

Delivery confirmation

eFAX supports national (within Australia) fax numbers only at this time. eFAX confirms all successful or failed fax transmissions via email back to the sender. If a fax does not go through within the pre-defined period and number of attempts, eFAX will cancel the action and send back an email informing you of the result.

You can now have a digital record of all your faxes without the costly overheads of traditional fax machines.

Using eFax is easy!

Step 1

Create a new email and address it to:
<areacode><fax number>.efax@messagenet.com.au
e.g. 0385178001.efax@messagenet.com.au.

Step 2

Attach the document(s) to be faxed. Supported formats are: .doc, .xls, .ppt, .pdf

Step 3

Click Send.

The eFAX service will use a generic FAX header page by default, but if you supply us with your company details, fax number and logo on account setup, eFAX will generate your own personalised cover page for all outbound faxes.

You can even include your own cover page per FAX by including a MS word document called cover.doc as one of your attachments.
